Review and Giveaway: Mercy Drink /Happy National Tequila Day

24 Jul

Its Tuesday, July 24, 2012, b.k.a. NATIONAL TEQUILA DAY and what better
way to celebrate this holiday than to tell you about this new product on
the market that helps to prevent, get this……HANGOVERS!!!
Mercy drink was provided to me about a month ago to review but I purposely
waited until my birthday 2 weeks ago to try out. Since I don’t drink on the
regular, I knew my birthday would be the best time. That night I had
a mixture of Patron and Ciroc (amount will not be disclosed, hehe).
As I’m enjoying my celebrations I remembered that I forgot my Mercy drink
at home. I hurried home and immediately went to my refrigerator for a can
of Mercy. I didn’t think it would really work because the instructions clearly
states to drink Mercy during or immediately after consuming alcohol.
Knowing I had 3 children who would be waking ME, not daddy, up
for breakfast, I had high hopes that mercy would come to my rescue.
Five hours later, the kids are up making noise and I woke up
with NO HANGOVER at all. Of course I was a little sleepy
but I didnt have that yucky feeling inside nor did I have
the usual massive headaches.
I’m happy to say that Mercy is the real deal!!!

Here’s some more information about Mercy…
-Contains amino acids, vitamins and minerals
-Detoxifies, replenishes and protects
-Caffeine free, NOT an energy drink
-Helps alleviate alcohol flush
-65 calories, 16 grams of sugar

Anyone else watched those Red Robin commercials and was frustrated
that there were no locations near you?
The closest restaurant to me is in Southwest Miami and thats

But, you can’t have a Grand Opening without a great team in place.
That is why Red Robin is looking to hire 150 individuals to join
their team.

Red Robin, known as the Gourmet Burger Experts, is looking
for energetic and friendly team members to join the new
Pembroke Pines restaurant, which is opening in late July 2012.

-Share Red Robin’s core values

Red Robin’s menu includes appetizers, chicken sandwiches, entrees,

Florida Turnpike Rate Increasing Soon

15 Jun

At 6am on June 24th expect to pay a little more on the Florida Turnpike and
even more if you don’t own a Sunpass.
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is adjusting toll
rates for inflation on all of its toll roads and bridges,
including Florida’s Turnpike toll roads, as mandated by Florida law.

Facilities that will be affected from South to North Florida include:
Homestead Extension of Florida’s Turnpike, Alligator Alley, Sawgrass
Expressway, Southern Coin System, Ticket System, Southern Connector
System, Polk Parkway, Beachline West Expressway, Sunshine Skyway
Bridge, Pinellas Bayway System, Beachline East Expressway,
I-4/Selmon Expressway Interchange, Veterans Expressway,
Suncoast Parkway, Seminole Expressway, Western Beltway
Part C and Northern Coin System.

Across South Florida, the increase will be at least 25 cents –
even with a SunPass.
Cash drivers will be $1.25 instead of $1 and SunPass users will see tolls increase
from 75 cents to $1. Along Alligator Alley, the toll will increase from $2.50 to $3
in cash and from $2 to $2.75 with a SunPass.
Tolls on I-95 or the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority highways are not affected.

Coupon: $1 Off McCafe beverage

19 May

When I visit McDonalds, my beverage’s of choice are the Mocha Frappe’,
Mango Pineapple and Wild Berry Smoothies. About three weeks ago
I decided to try the latest addition to their McCafe menu,
the Cherry Berry Chiller. Made with 100% fruit juice, it’s a perfect
drink on a hot day especially in South Florida. When I tasted
the Cherry Berry Chiller, I didnt experience a party in my mouth
like I usually do with the Mango Pineapple Smoothie. But I’m not
giving up on the drink as yet because I know first hand that your
McCafe beverage experience is all in the hands of the employee
who makes it.

McDonald’s wants you to try out one of their McCafe beverages
with a $1.00 coupon on any size,
-Cherry Berry Chiller
