Open Auditions for Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders

The Miami Dolphins will host auditions on Saturday, April 21, 2012 and are
looking for beautiful, sophisticated and talented women to represent
the most prestigious team in the NFL.

Applicants must be 18 years of age by May 11, 2012 and a high school graduate
by August 2012. You must also be able to attend ALL cheerleader rehearsals
for the entire season. If you are selected, you must reside or relocate to
South Florida and have means of transportation.

Registration begins at 8:30am sharp and competition begins at 10:00am.
Between 9:00am and 10:00am contestants will learn audition choreography
that will be performed at 10:00am.
On Friday, April 20, 2012, there will be a prep class where contestants
can learn the choreography.

Sun Life Stadium located in Miami Gardens, FL, announced that they will be hosting the 2011 Sports and Entertainment Career Fair on Tuesday, November 15th from 3pm to 7pm.

If you’re interested in a career in sports and entertainment, this is where you need to be.
You will learn about careers in marketing, sales, advertising, ticketing, public relations, finance and
others through a series of panel discussions. You will also have the opportunity to meet and greet with executives in the sports and entertainment field, perfect networking environment.

Special Dedication of Joe Robbie Statue and Plaza before Dolphin’s vs. Patriots Kickoff

WHAT: Special Dedication of Joe Robbie Statue and Plaza to take place Monday prior to kickoff

Prior to kickoff of Monday night’s 2011 home opener vs. the New England Patriots presented by Publix, the Miami Dolphins will be naming Sun Life Stadium’s Courtyard Plaza and re-dedicating the larger-than-life statue of Joe Robbie, the first owner of the team and visionary for what is today Sun Life Stadium. The Dolphins will also announce that this area will honor the great players and figures in Dolphins history. Tim Robbie, son of Joe Robbie, will participate in the ceremonies along with current owner Stephen Ross, CEO Mike Dee and prominent Dolphins alumni including Bob Griese, Larry Little, Dan Marino and Dwight Stephenson. The statue will permanently adorn the main entrance on the north side of the stadium by Gate C near Nat Moore’s BBQ, a tailgate party which takes place prior to every Dolphins home game and features past Dolphins’ legends. Fans attending the game are invited to attend the ceremony.

Special Ceremony to Launch the Miami Dolphins Cycling Challenge

Dignitaries, entertainers, cyclists and cancer survivors from throughout South Florida will hold a special ceremony at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 19, 2011 at Gate G in Sun Life Stadium in conjunction with the second annual Dolphins Cycling Challenge (DCC). The DCC, a two-day, 170-mile trans-Florida charity cycling event to benefit Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center will take place on November 5-6, 2011.

During the event, the new 2011 DCC ceremonial jersey will be unveiled in honor of Dolphins great Jim “Mad Dog” Mandich. The media availability will also include a photo opportunity with over 40 cyclists and cancer patients throughout South Florida taking part in a ceremonial lap around the perimeter of Sun Life Stadium.
